About the hosts
We are a family of five from Port Credit Ontario just outside of Toronto. We have travelled different parts of the world and keep returning to Bahamas for the people, the culture, the weather and of course the best beaches/ocean water in the world!
We hope to retire to the Bahamas in a few years, but in the meantime we would love for others to enjoy the beautiful Beau Soleil house that has been a labour of love over the last 2 years!
We are committed to ensuring that every one of our guests has the best trip of their lives.
Why we chose Farmer's Hill
We visited Exuma for the first time about 4 years ago and were lucky enough to purchase this property. We loved the location, being a short drive from the airport as well as the privacy that comes with being a short drive road off the main 'highway'.
We designed the house based on some of the properties that we stayed at on our trip to Bali and southeast Asia. The design included input from three different Toronto and Bahamian architect firms. We named the house Beau Soleil - French for beautiful sun- and it is a perfect way to appreciate the sights and environment that Exuma has to offer.
Anyone who visits Exuma falls in love with the island immediately. Our house is close to the airport but you never see or hear a plane. We are close to Sandals and Grand Isle for restaurants and nightlife but far enough away to feel like you have the island to yourselves. I have never been on our beach and not been alone
. The water is beautiful to swim in with a mixture of waves for body surfing one day and calm enough to standup paddle board the next. There is a reef to the right and left of the property for snorkel enthusiasts.
Coastal finishes and furnishings create a beachy vibe. Relax on the massive deck and enjoy the infinity edge pool that blurs into the ocean or the sunken hot tub, day bed and outdoor bar.
You will never want to leave.
